Carmen Aguila-Tornero is an Associate at Summers Levine Lipsic & Hersh, LLP, having joined its predecessor Summers Levine, LLP, first as a Law Clerk in February 2024. Ms. Aguila-Tornero graduated from California State University, Long Beach, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with a Minor in Creative Writing before receiving her Juris Doctorate Degree from Loyola Law School in May 2024.  Ms. Aguila-Tornero was admitted to the California State Bar in December 2024.

Prior to joining Summers Levine Lipsic & Hersh, LLP, Ms. Aguila-Tornero served as a judicial extern in the Stanely Mosk Courthouse and worked with the Los Angeles County Counsel, Dependency Division, where she assisted County Counsel with trial preparation. She also worked with the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Domestic Violence Project, located in the Stanely Mosk Courthouse, where she assisted self-represented litigants in completing their Domestic Violence Restraining Order Requests and informed them of the restraining order process.
